A recent study from today.com concluded that several young people are disconnecting from socail media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

The study shows that 64% of Generation Z will take a temporary break from socail media. Several people say that it is controlling and causing depression. Through social media, young people compare themselves to other teens causing stress and anxiety.

Peri Jones 8B said, “It feels good to take a break from social media because kids our age are on it to much.”
