Epic Games has released a new video game labeled Fortnite.

Within the game there are two major game modes, P vs. E which is like a campaign but with “husks” (Zombies) and Battle Royale which consists of 3 game modes and one special one (usually). There are solos where it’s an all versus all, with one hundred players, duo’s where its 50 teams of 2, and squads, which is the best for playing with friends. There are 25 teams of 4 facing off, and all these games modes have one life.

Fortnite Battle Royale is based off “PUBG” (Player Unknown Battle Grounds) with a few different changes. Fortnite got its name from the in-game feature allowing you to build bases and “forts”.

The game begins when you move to the “Battle Bus” where you fly to get where you want to go on this massive map. Once you are on the ground,  you want to loot up and gather guns, materials, and healing surpluses. After you are well looted, go ahead and fight enemies, build forts, and try to advance in the game.

As time progresses the “Storm” will damage you and make you die so watch out as it gets bigger and bigger forcing you to move to get into the eye. Towards the end of the game less and less people are alive so it will eventually come down to a 1 vs. 1.

Fornite’s original game mode was a P vs. E and inspired by H1Z1, a survival game. In the P vs. E, there are a lot of advanced features including crafting your own ammo from resources and creating your own weapons. Also, you can save survivors and have them help you. In P vs. E you fight against the storm which spawns husks and build bases to guard your home base.

This game is available on all XBoxes, Pc, PS4, and PS3.

Fortnite is a very fun game and I definitely recommend that you get it because it definitely improves your teamwork with friends and your video game skills!
